Specifications
–Create a series of signs for patrons to self-direct to our Self-Serve Holds Pick Up during the second stage of the pandemic reopening.
–Minimize or completely eliminate face to face contact while being able to provide service and still protect staff and students during this phase of the pandemic reopening.
–Simplify the steps and directions to enhance user experience and to not overwhelm the user.
Rationale
Wayfinding arrows at eye level and footprints are used to clearly direct the user in the direction of the steps.
Having had limited resources, 4-11×17 sheets were stitched together for the bookshelves to clearly and boldly identify the new hold shelf location.
